HVAC Service Across Polk County, Town by Town

Our HVAC service across Polk County centers on three towns along the Interstate 4 corridor between Tampa and Orlando: Lakeland, Winter Haven and Plant City, just over the line in Hillsborough County. The weather is the same across all three, long humid summers and a handful of cold nights each winter, but the houses and the way they were built change from one town to the next.
What stays the same everywhere
Air conditioners in this part of Florida run nine or ten months a year. That much running time wears out capacitors and contactors, coats the coils with dust and pollen, and fills the condensate drain lines with algae. The heat runs for only a few weeks, so heating problems tend to show up all at once, on the first cold night of the year.
What changes from town to town
Lakeland has a wide mix, from older bungalows near downtown and the lakes to newer subdivisions in the north and south of the city. Older homes often have smaller duct runs and air handlers in closets or garages, while the newer ones tend to have larger systems in the attic.
Winter Haven sits around the Chain of Lakes, and many homes are near water. The extra moisture means drain lines clog faster and outdoor coils need more cleaning, so we check both on every visit there.
Plant City has many ranch homes and older houses with long duct runs through hot attics. Leaky or separated ducts are a common reason a back bedroom never cools, and summer storms that drop the power can damage a compressor when it comes back on.
How a visit works in any town
You book a service call, hear its price, and get a time. The tech tests the whole system and puts the repair price in writing before any work starts. For the details of each job, see the heating and cooling services page, or read the page for your town: Lakeland, Winter Haven or Plant City.
